Job Title: Security Officer

Seeking a professional Security Officer with commercial building experience to staff one of our Queen locations.

Requirements:

• Valid NYS Security Guard license
• Presentable, well-spoken, team-oriented
• Fire panel experience is a plus

Shift:

• Monday - Friday 11PM-7AM
• Saturday/Sunday 11PM-11AM
• Saturday/Sunday 11AM-11PM

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Meet and maintain applicable state/city licensing requirements
• Be tech-savvy with knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Maintain a clean-cut, professional appearance
• Handle unusual circumstances with professionalism
• Courteous telephone manner
• Write routine logs and reports
• Maintain good organizational skills
• Provide high-quality customer service
• Interact effectively across diverse social and cultural levels
• Communicate clearly in speaking, hearing, writing, and observing incidents

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current New York State Security Guard License
• Current NYS Training Certifications (16 HR OJT and/or 8 HR Annual)

Compensation: Starting at $17.38 per hour
