Job description

Seeking professional Security Officer with commercial building experience to staff one of our Queen locations.

Requirements:

• A valid NYS Security Guard license is required.
• Candidates should be very presentable, well spoken, and willing to be part of a team. Fire panel experience is a plus.

Shift:

1. Monday - Friday 11PM-7AM
2. Saturday/Sunday 11P-11AM
3. Saturday/Sunday 11AM-11PM

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state/city licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Be tech-savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
• Maintain a clean cut, corporate appearance.
• Maintain professional composure in unusual circumstances.
• Have a courteous telephone manner.
• Write routine logs and reports.
• Possess good organizational skills.
• Provide high-quality customer service.
• Interact effectively across diverse social levels and cultures.
• Communicate clearly to observe, report incidents, and direct others.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current New York State Security Guard License.
• Current New York State Training Certifications (16 HR OJT and/or 8 HR Annual).
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Word, typing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pay Rate Starting: $17.38 per hour.
