Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Business Analyst to drive finance and operations initiatives using MS Dynamics 365. You will gather and document requirements, configure financial modules, and lead process improvements across IT, finance, and operations teams.

You will analyze financial data, develop tests, and create documentation while delivering training to end users and stakeholders. Strong BA and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in finance and operations, with a strong focus on MS Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in D365 financial modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with process mapping and documentation.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards; certification preferred.

• Generate and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance.
• Analyze, track & remediate root causes of defects.
• Work to develop testing documentation: test plans, test scripts, test exceptions, follow up and resolution, identify waste & rework and enact plans to improve/solve and/or work with the QA test lead.
• Work on assigned projects as BA lead.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in finance and operations, with a strong focus on MS Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in D365 financial modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with process mapping and documentation.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus, including Tax (Avalara platform).
• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or relevant business analysis certifications is preferred.
• Strong Finance & Accounting business knowledge.
• Experience utilizing Azure DevOps to manage the implementation of new product offerings.
• Ability to articulate business requirements, capabilities & competencies, product/solution features, and technology aspects.
• Demonstrates technical thought leadership and domain/industry knowledge.
