Job summary

Loews New Orleans Hotel is seeking a hands-on F&B Supervisor to oversee service rounds, maintain cleanliness and inventory, and support the Team Leader with daily operations in our Warehouse District restaurant and bar environment.

You will monitor staff adherence to service standards, balance cash and bank SOPs, coordinate with the restaurant manager on events, menus, and special counts, and assist with training and end-of-shift handoffs. Strong organization and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Food & Beverage knowledge required.
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
• High school diploma required.
• Strong organizational skills essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make inspection rounds ensuring organization, cleanliness, proper maintenance, adequate supplies.
• Monitor staff adherence to all service standards, SOPs and Loews SOPs; inspect staff for correct Uniform/Groom standards.
• Supervise service of guests; be attentive to signals from guests in need of service.
• Assist Team Leader to establish and monitor side work duty completion.
• Maintain bank to SOP; keep it balanced and secure at all times.
• Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift.
• Check restaurant for cleanliness and setup.
• Communicate daily with restaurant manager regarding events, house counts, etc.
• Assist Team Leader in conducting menu classes and taste panels.
• Assist Team Leader in conducting month-end inventory count and recording.
