Job summary

Napa Valley Wine Train is seeking a friendly F&B Server to join our premium guest service team aboard our historic train during fall and winter excursions, including the Santa Train. You will help deliver hospitality and memorable experiences to guests.

The role requires energy, a positive attitude, ability to stand long hours, and strong teamwork. Prior restaurant experience is helpful but not required as training is provided; evening and weekend availability is essential, with November 24 –

Qualifications

• Evening and weekend availability required.
• 1 year of restaurant/server experience preferred.
• Wine knowledge and Napa Valley history familiarity preferred.
• Ability to multitask, listen actively, and work on a moving train.
• Must speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train during all experiences.
• Serve guests with high energy and professionalism, especially during the Santa Train season.
• Maintain teamwork and adapt to fast-paced environments.

As a F&B Server Server/Steward, you’ll be part of this legacy while helping create unforgettable guest experiences during all Wine Train experiences.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a F&B Server you will bring magic and excellence to all of our wine train experiences, and later primarily to our festive Santa Train. You’ll be part of our premium guest service team, delivering outstanding hospitality aboard our historic train during fall and winter excursions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring pride, professionalism, and positive energy to every shift. This position requires high energy, excellent rapport with children, strong composure in fast-paced situations, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, and a welcoming smile.

Previous restaurant or serving experience is helpful but not required—we’re happy to train observant, personable, and hardworking individuals who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

• Evening and weekend availability (no exceptions)
• 1 year of restaurant/server experience preferred
• Wine knowledge and familiarity with Napa Valley history strongly preferred
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and actively listen
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable working on a moving train
• Positive, adaptable, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to speak and understand English
• Season availability: November 24 – December 23, 2026 (no exceptions)

MANDATORY SCHEDULE DURING SANTA TRAIN SEASON

Must be available for all shifts — no exceptions

Nov 24th- December 24th 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Salary: $16.90-$28.00(with Gratuity)
