Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Runner at Lee Canyon Resort in Las Vegas, NV. You will ensure quick, accurate, and safe delivery of food from kitchen to guests, serving as Expediter and To-Go Specialist while maintaining high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction.

The role requires coordinating between kitchen and front-of-house, handling takeout orders, and supporting guest service needs during peak hours. Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

Position Summary

The Runner is responsible for ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and safely from the kitchen to guests. This position also serves as an Expediter and To-Go Specialist, coordinating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, verifying order accuracy, packaging takeout orders, and maintaining high standards of food presentation and guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
• Follow all policies, procedures and service standards.
• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately to guests.
• Expedite orders by coordinating with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
• Inspect completed dishes for accuracy, quality, and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate special requests, modifications, and order updates between the kitchen and service staff.
• Organize and prioritize food orders during peak service periods.
• Package and prepare takeout and delivery orders according to restaurant standards.
• Verify all to-go orders for accuracy, including food items, condiments, utensils, and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and takeout stations.
• Assist servers by clearing and sanitizing tables, refilling supplies, and supporting guest service needs.
• Complete all opening,running, and closing assigned sidework tasks.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
