Job summary

Paylocity in Illinois is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to provide daily supervision and direction of service staff, ensuring quality standards and a positive guest experience.

You will coordinate with kitchen and order takers, manage staffing, inventory, payroll review, and cost controls, while training employees and maintaining equipment and supplies to support hotel operations. PM/evening, weekend and holiday availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience supervising service staff in F&B operations.
• Solid knowledge of hotel F&B operations and cost controls.
• Ability to prepare and analyze figures and data.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily F&B service staff and ensure professional guest interaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen and order takers to maintain service flow.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, and supervision of staff.
• Monitor payroll, labor, and expenses for the department.
• Oversee F&B ordering, inventory, and supply levels.
• Balance administrative duties with hands-on operation; PM/evening/weekend availability.
