Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center in Denton, TX seeks an Assistant General Manager, Food & Beverage to lead culinary, restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, profitability, and team development.

This hands-on leadership role oversees high-volume service across multiple outlets, collaborates with Sales and Culinary teams, and supports hotel performance while maintaining brand standards and compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of progressive hotel or F&B leadership experience preferred.
Comprehensive hospitality experience required.
Experience managing restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, and convention/event operations strongly preferred.
Previous supervisory or management experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or related field preferred.
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Lead, recruit, hire, train, coach, motivate, and develop food and beverage team members.
Develop and manage departmental budgets and expense controls.
Oversee daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, bar, catering, and banquet services.
Collaborate with Sales, Culinary leadership to enhance menus, promotions, and guest experiences.
Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction metrics.
Complete all administrative, financial, and reporting responsibilities accurately and on time.
