Job summary

Hireology seeks a Food and Beverage Director to oversee dining room, kitchen, bar, banquet and catering operations in a hospitality setting. You will lead staff, manage inventory, and drive quality and revenue goals while controlling food and supply costs.

Ideal candidates bring prior team management and high-volume cooking experience, with a focus on process improvement and adherence to brand standards and safety regulations. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: some college or advanced training in food and beverage management with supervisory experience.
• Must have advanced knowledge of food service regulations.
• Able to stand 7-8 hours per shift in a hot/cold kitchen environment.
• Must speak fluent English; strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement restaurant, banquet, catering, and other culinary experiences.
• Delegate responsibility for the operation of various F&B sub-departments (catering, restaurant, banquet, kitchen).
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and revenue goals for F&B; forecast business volume.
• Review financial reports to monitor performance and adjust as needed.
• Identify new sales opportunities to enhance revenue with catering and events.
• Manage menu creation with pricing to support bottom-line goals.
• Research vendors and manage supplier relationships to optimize costs.
