Job summary

Meridian Hills Country Club, Inc. is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to lead daily operations in both restaurants and banquets. You will work with the F&B Director, Executive Chef, and events team to achieve member satisfaction and financial goals.

The role requires hospitality management experience, strong leadership, and a focus on SOPs, service standards, and staff development. This is a full-time position at Meridian Hills in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost controls and operating procedures in F&B.
• Menu design experience is preferred.
• Wine, spirits, and beer knowledge and bar operations experience.
• Point-of-sales systems experience.
• High attention to detail with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for charge procedures, member chits, tip reports, ticket controls and daily sales reports.
• Assists in staffing the department weekly and seasonally.
• Hiring, training, supervision, discipline, and termination of F&B staff.
• Conducts orientation and ongoing training for FOH employees.
• Monitors timecard records to minimize overtime and control labor costs.
• Creates and maintains SOPs within the F&B department to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Ensures SOPs for revenue and cost control are followed.
• Ensures club policies are followed.
• Serves as manager-on-duty on a scheduled basis.
