Job summary

The Biltmore Estate is seeking a Full Time F&B Maintenance Staff II to perform repairs, maintenance and upkeep across the Estate, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, minor electrical and HVAC work.

Essential duties include reviewing daily work orders, maintaining par stock of tools and supplies, understanding electrical and plumbing systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality in guest areas; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional training/certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or other trades preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in commercial plant operations and mechanics.
• Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints and schematics; math skills essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional interaction with staff and guests.
• Strong planning and multi-tasking abilities; proactive problem solving.
• Valid driver’s license required.

## F&B Maintenance Staff II - Full TimeApply: Biltmore Estate: Full time: Posted Today: JR103509**Job Description**The starting pay range for this position begins at $17.85/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements.The F&B Maintenance Staff II will be responsible for repairs, maintenance, upkeep and operations of materials, supplies and components across the Estate. Staff will work on interior and exterior projects that include plumbing, painting, carpentry, minor electrical and HVAC work; and will also assist in other areas of Engineering as assigned, such as preventative maintenance on buildings and kitchen equipment. Staff will work with a Maintenance team focused on the exceptional service of the Guests on Biltmore Estate, while also providing general assistance and support for the leadership, department, and company.**Requirements:**1. High school diploma required. Additional training/education and certification in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or other trade preferred. 2. Minimum two (2) years of experience in commercial plant operations and mechanics, preferably in an upscale hotel/resort/facility setting. 3. Demonstrated commitment to delivering world class internal/external guest service. 4. Experience with carpentry, plumbing and kitchen equipment (electrical, etc.); can read construction drawings, blueprints and schematics. Math skills a must. 5.
