The Cook III will be responsible for preparing the menu following the established recipes and guidelines set by the organization, processing customer orders in a timely manner, and adjusting the menu items according to customer requests. This individual follows all guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety. They will maintain a clean and orderly work station and use prior knowledge and experience to produce high-quality food for customers. Additional responsibilities include preparing food each day and washing dishes each shift. This individual will have 3-5 years of experience working in food and beverage roles.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and cooked to meet guidelines/regulations for food safety.
  • Follow recipes for all menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Prepare food each day for that shift as well as the next day’s shift.
  • Accommodate guests' special requests regarding dietary or preference needs.
  • Take inventory at the end of each shift to determine ingredients needing to be restocked the following day.
  • Contribute to positively impacting the morale of staff.
  • Assist in additional event catering/banquet events in preparing food of all kinds.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
  • Report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager any maintenance issues or issues in the establishment.
  • When the Food & Beverage Manager is not working, you will be responsible for ensuring BOH duties are completed as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Food and Beverage.
  • Food Safe Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of food and catering trends including quality, production, sanitation, and preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout your shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating and working with other cooks to prepare orders.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
