Job Summary

The Marketplace Cashier/Cook is responsible for providing excellent guest service by accurately and efficiently processing guest's food & beverage preparation and purchases.

Reports to

F&B Supervisor

Essential Functions

1. Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal, and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
2. Provide high standards of guest service by listening and responding effectively to guest and team member concerns and questions.
3. Greet guests and efficiently process food and beverage orders and purchases through the Point of Sale (POS) System.
4. Maintain accountability and security of their cash drawer.
5. Stock and clean workstation/venue to ensure presentable products.
6. Ensure proper guest payment collection for food and beverage service.
7. Prepare food as needed in quick service kitchens.
8. Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
9. Communicate positively and respectfully with internal and external guests.
10. Build and maintain knowledge of food & beverage offerings to answer questions accurately.
11. Maintain excellent attendance and be available for events and varied schedules.
12. Perform other assigned duties and special projects.
13. Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
14. Manage and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
15. Complete all required training satisfactorily.
16. Monitor compliance with currency transaction reporting, anti-money laundering policies, and maintain accurate reports as needed.
17. Note: Duties may change based on organizational needs.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related food service experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume dining settings preferred.
• Wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.

• Casino floor and office settings, often in a smoke-filled environment.
• Varying noise levels, extended hours, and irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Potential exposure to lighting effects and dealing with difficult guests or staff.

Conditions of Employment

• Ability to obtain and maintain a KTTT Gaming License and other required certifications.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
• Compliance with all policies, regulations, and training requirements.
