Job summary

Valor is seeking a Food & Beverage Director for The 106 Jefferson Hotel in Huntsville, AL. You will lead F&B operations, recruit and coach staffing, and drive financial performance to support guest experiences and owner expectations.

Requirements include a 2- or 4-year hospitality degree and minimum 3 years in a leadership F&B role, plus strong communication and strategic planning skills. The position is on-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4 year degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a food & beverage leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, orient, train, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline associates; communicate expectations and responsibilities; plan and review contributions; manage compensation actions.
• Contribute to strategic plans and reviews; set standards for production, productivity, quality, and customer service; identify trends and drive improvements.
• Forecast requirements, prepare budgets, analyze variances, and take corrective actions.
• Ensure sanitation standards; supervise equipment; protect assets and ensure quality service.
• Perform Manager-on-Duty shifts as assigned.
