Job summary

Meadowlark Lodge in Ten Sleep, WY is seeking an energetic F&B Cashier / Food Runner to join our dining team. You will take guest orders, process payments, and help with food running and table care in a fast-paced resort setting.

The role supports weddings and events, requires flexibility, excellent communication, and a guest-focused mindset. Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required, with opportunities to grow within Meadowlark Lodge.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, cashier, food service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn and confidently operate a POS system
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when taking orders and processing payments
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, weddings, and special events
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist with food running, bussing, cleaning, and other restaurant operations

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient service
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and answer basic guest questions
• Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
• Bus, clean, and reset tables throughout service
• Monitor the dining area and proactively assist guests as needed
• Stock utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and service stations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier, dining, and service areas
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH team members to ensure smooth service
• Support banquet, wedding, and special event operations
• Perform assigned opening and closing duties
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and resort service standards
• Assist with additional F&B responsibilities during high-volume periods as needed
