Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking an F&B Assistant Manager to supervise and coordinate activities for all F&B outlets at The Canyons Castle Pines. You will report to the F&B Manager or Restaurant Manager and help ensure superb service and dining standards.

Key duties include hiring, training, and developing the F&B team, maintaining safety and quality, and supporting events and revenue growth in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two to three years' leadership experience in related field, with two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must meet the state’s minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to understand and implement dining standards.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus.
• Knowledgeable about county regulations.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to calculate costs, menu pricing, discounts, and labor standards; understand P&L statements.

• Ensure a consistent set of superior standards of food service and quality.
• Maintain effective communication regarding F&B operations, safety, and concerns; motivate staff.
• Assist F&B Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, and development of F&B team members.
• Recognize and celebrate team member successes and maintain humor.
• Provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable working environment for food service staff.
• Support goals for measuring sales, revenue, and new projects.
• Adhere to labor standards relating to labor dollars and covers.
• Assist during all F&B functions (corporate parties, weddings).
• Other duties may be assigned.
