Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Supervisor of Food & Beverage to coordinate and supervise F&B staff, ensuring peak performance and guest satisfaction. This role reports to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities include upholding superior service standards, interviewing and hiring staff, training, managing inventories and budgets, and acting as Bar Manager during events to ensure best beverage practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1–3 years experience supervising a team of managers or another supervisory role.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol, if applicable.
• Computer literate with Excel and Office.
• Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise F&B employees to ensure peak performance and guest experience.
• Establish and maintain high standards of food service and quality.
• Hire F&B staff in partnership with the managerial team.
• Train and develop staff; supervise banquet staff and assist in bar management.
• Maintain effective communication regarding F&B operations, safety and staff concerns.
• Assist in budget planning and monitor expenses; conduct monthly inventories.
• Train in Bar Management; oversee seasonal drink specials and mixology classes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
