Job summary

Meow Wolf, Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across food prep, beverage service, and guest interactions, with opportunities to elevate the exhibition narrative through creative service.

The role requires at least 3 years in a leadership F&B/operations role, strong POS and budgeting knowledge, and a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years management experience in entertainment/hospitality/operations.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven work experience as an F&B Assistant Manager or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with point-of-sale systems.
• Proven experience managing budgets.
• knowledgeable in liquor, bartending, and service protocols.
• Strong service skills and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification; TIPS certification.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all job positions to operate locations including prep, bar, serving, and POS.
• Deliver memorable guest experiences through exceptional service.
• Assist in hiring and training staff to provide high Meow Wolf-level service.
• Enforce cash handling policies and POS training for staff.
• Manage labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures.
• Supervise staff in accordance with policies and laws.
• Plan and support events in venue and lounges.
• Maintain vendor and community relationships.
• Lead and develop an F&B team focused on guest service and growth.
• Respond to injuries and emergencies and maintain cleanliness.
