Job summary

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Arlington, VA seeks a F-35 Domestic Weapons Platforms/Stores Integration Systems Engineer to support the F-35 Joint Program Office. You will lead the integration of weapons into domestic F-35 fleet versions, develop engineering concepts and performance requirements, and provide technical planning for development, engineering and evaluation.

Qualifications

Responsible for the overall technical effort to integrate weapons into the domestic versions of the F-35 fleet.
Formulate engineering design concepts and performance requirements for planning the assigned system.
Maintain knowledge of current and future capabilities, problems and demands on the system and provide technical planning for development, engineering and evaluation.
Develop all engineering portions of Procurement Requests, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
Assess if available or imminent technology meets requirements or fleet operational needs.

Responsibilities

Lead the integration of weapons into domestic F-35 fleet versions.
Formulate design concepts and performance requirements for planning.
Maintain knowledge of capabilities, problems, and demands on the system for planning.
Prepare engineering portions of procurement and qualification documents.
Evaluate new technologies for applicability to fleet requirements.
