Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona seeks a leader to drive the Aircraft Maintenance Training Team across diverse F-35 operations. You will manage on-the-job trainers, ensure curriculum relevance, and coordinate across U.S. and international sites to maintain readiness.

You will oversee schedules, safety, and compliance while developing the team’s capabilities. The role offers extensive collaboration with military and industry partners and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of F-35 maintenance experience and understanding of fighter aircraft systems.
• Minimum of 5 years in an aircraft maintenance leadership role.
• At least 4 years of ALIS experience.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Maintenance Information System, and Supply Chain.
• Interim Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DCMA 8210.1C and service guidance for all F-35 variants.
• Collaborate with Military, Lockheed Martin and partners to keep maintenance training up to date.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and overhauls to keep aircraft safe for flight.
• Create and assign work-orders in ALIS and issue flight releases as needed.
• Supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in a mixed workforce.
• Ensure instructions and local operating procedures are followed.
• Advise management on progress, material availability, and production issues.
• Enforce good housekeeping and safety; FAA license desirable.
