Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Smith, AR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Controller to manage aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling and ALIS data entry. The role requires secret clearance, FMS operations experience, and flexibility to work multiple shifts onsite.

Candidates should have 6+ years in fighter aircraft maintenance, including 2+ years with F-35, strong communication, and ability to coordinate across Operations, Maintenance and Logistics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Operation.
• At least 2 years in an F-35 maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance controller operations.
• Experience with Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information Systems, Tool and FOD, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management.
• Use Fifth Generation aircraft management tools.
• Maintenance Administration Experience.
• Experience with ALIS.

Responsibilities

• Uses aircraft data to project future maintenance events that will impact aircraft operations.
• Coordinates aircraft production efforts, provides technical assistance, and sets maintenance priorities.
• Prioritize general services, repairs, and overhauls to ensure airworthiness.
• Creates and assigns work-orders in ALIS.
• Plans and develops current flight schedules for efficient service and resource use.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules and issues.
• Coordinates with Flightline Expeditor for daily operations.
• Monitors aircraft status and coordinates base support as needed.
• Ensures maintenance actions are completed on time and maintains status boards.
