Job summary

Lockheed Martin at MCAS Cherry Point is seeking an experienced Pilot Instructor to train F-35 pilots using cutting-edge tools such as Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML), Interactive Courseware (ICW), and Full Mission Simulators (FMS). You will develop and deliver academic training, flight procedures, and simulator sessions to prepare pilots for demanding missions.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with SAR eligibility (within 6 years)
• Minimum 1000 hours Fighter Flight Time in 4th/5th gen fighters
• Former Instructor Pilot (IP) experience required
• In-depth knowledge of 4th/5th/5th gen aircraft systems and sensors/weapons
• Experience delivering military pilot academics and simulator training
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 89 days

Responsibilities

• Provide expert instruction to F-35 pilots using EML, ICW and FMS.
• Develop and deliver academic training, flight procedures and simulator training.
• Collaborate with instructors and SMEs to ensure high-quality programs.
• Operate IOS and act as SME for courseware updates.
