Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced F-35 Aircraft Maintenance SME to support training and certification for new instructors at MCAS Miramar, San Diego. The role covers aviation maintenance, CMMS documentation, and training development for F-35 crews.

Candidates should have 10+ years in aviation with 6+ years in F-35 maintenance and at least 2 years as an instructor, plus ALIS knowledge. Willingness to travel and obtain clearances is required.

Qualifications

• 10 years total aviation experience.
• At least 6 years F-35 aircraft maintenance experience.
• 2 years Formal Instructor experience.
• Knowledgeable on DCMA 8210.1C/D.
• Experience in presenting to senior leadership.
• In depth working knowledge of ALIS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in F-35 Aircraft Maintenance and CMMS documentation.
• Train new instructors and develop course materials.
• Certify instructors to teach courses and oversee quality of materials.
• Lead training for multiple trainees on ground handling and maintenance tasks.
