Job summary

Canvas II, LLC. is seeking a Senior F-35 Fleet Manager to serve as the technical authority for fleet management activities at Eglin AFB. You will coordinate scheduling, configuration management, and mission readiness across maintenance, logistics, and test teams.

Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment, ensuring compliance with Air Force regulations and contract requirements. A Secret clearance is required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with eligibility for a security clearance.
• Experience supporting Air Force Test and Evaluation missions.
• Strong expertise in F-35 systems and sustainment.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-tempo environment.
• Experience in government contracting and PWS requirements.
• Proficiency with fleet management and maintenance tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical authority and primary advisor for all F-35 fleet management activities, providing SME-level guidance to maintenance, logistics, and test teams.Oversee daily fleet operations, including aircraft scheduling, configuration management, and mission readiness.Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and logistics personnel to resolve complex technical issues and ensure optimal fleet performance.Develop and maintain fleet metrics, readiness reports, and trend analyses for leadership and stakeholders.Support test and evaluation missions by ensuring aircraft are properly configured, maintained, and available for scheduled activities.Ensure compliance with Air Force, DoD, and contract-specific regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with government and contractor teams to support contract transitions, onboarding, and workforce continuity.Desired SkillsExperience supporting Air Force Test and Evaluation missions.Familiarity with government contracting, PWS requirements, and performance-based logistics.Proficiency in fleet management and maintenance tracking systems.Ability to adapt to evolving mission requirements and manage workforce transitions.Experience in fighter aircraft fleet management, maintenance, or logistics, with a strong preference for F-35 program experience.Demonstrated expertise in F-35 systems, sustainment, and Air Force operational requirements.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects in a high-tempo environment.Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Required QualificationsU.S. CitizenMust posses or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
