Boeing is seeking an Aircraft Structures Mechanic to support the F-22 team at Nellis AFB, NV. You will perform maintenance, repair, and upgrades on aircraft structures, using technical orders, blueprints, and drawings to service electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine subsystems.

Requirements include 1+ year of aircraft maintenance/structural repair experience, strong knowledge of sheet metal modifications, ability to read drawings, and a willingness to work variable shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years aircraft maintenance experience/aircraft structural repair.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
• Willingness to work variable shifts.
• Experience with precision drilling, cutting and fabricating aircraft structural components.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty.
• Interprets blueprints or manuals to solve problems.
• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
• Uses PPE correctly and adheres to safety standards.
• Applies technical expertise to resolve issues with aircraft systems.
