Qualifications

• Four years of recent experience in repair of aircraft avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems (F/A-18).
• Able to obtain and maintain DoD secret clearance.
• High School diploma or equivalent; specialized F/A-18 avionics courses completed.

Responsabilités

• Performs operational checks, bench checks, troubleshoots, and isolates malfunctions in complex aircraft avionics equipment.
• Repairs or replaces components based on test results using blueprints, schematics, and handbooks.
• Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records and CAMS documentation.
• Uses advanced test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, reflectometers) to perform checks.
• Adheres to COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and uses NAMP/NALCOMIS systems.
