Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join the F-15 team in the Air Force Division at Wright Patterson AFB. The role focuses on system integration, risk assessment, and airworthiness activities to ensure compliant and safe weapon system deployments.

Ideal candidates will hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree with extensive DoD experience and a background in aircraft systems engineering and safety analyses.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Engineering degree required.
• 10 years of engineering experience, 5 in DoD.

Responsibilities

• Review and update program documentation for systems integration engineering requirements.
• Plan and conduct risk assessments, track action items and update risk metrics.
• Support Airworthiness Certification activities and prepare compliance packages for MFR/MTC.
• Produce draft documentation to support airworthiness processes within program constraints.
