Infinity Eye Care in Indianapolis is seeking an Optician / Eyewear Stylist to turn prescriptions into eyewear you’ll love. You’ll help patients select frames that fit their style, educate on lens options, and ensure a personalized shopping experience.

Experience in retail or customer service is valued; optical experience is helpful, but a positive attitude, dependability, and team spirit matter most. An independent, local practice offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience is preferred, but we’re open to strong experience in related fields such as retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Ability to listen to patients and translate needs into eyewear choices.
• Interest in helping people look and feel their best with a great patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Help patients turn prescriptions into eyewear they genuinely love.
• Assist in frame selection that matches style, personality, prescription, and lifestyle.
• Educate patients about lens options and recommend suitable products.
• Create an enjoyable, personalized eyewear-shopping experience.
• Take accurate measurements and ensure eyewear fits properly.
• Adjust, dispense, troubleshoot, and repair eyewear.
• Explain insurance benefits, pricing, and payment options clearly.
• Follow up with patients and resolve concerns.
• Maintain an attractive, organized optical gallery.
• Contribute to team success by aiming for sales and capture-rate goals.
