Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and supervising staff preferred.
• Ability to lead and coach associates and maintain positive relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for team management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met and enforce remakes policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Oversee promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising; ensure staff awareness.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retention of qualified staff.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
