Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking an Optical Retail Sales Associate in the United States to help customers select eyeglasses, lenses, and coatings tailored to individual needs. The role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and accurate processing of prescriptions and transactions.

As part of a leading optical retailer, you will stay informed about promotions, assist with insurance claims, and maintain confidentiality in patient files while supporting a flexible, customer-centered shopping

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Optical industry experience is a plus!
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Provide Exceptional Customer Service
Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies
Process payments and refunds using our POS system
Educate patients on eyeglass care
Process insurance claims
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
Create and manage patient files with confidentiality in mind
Interpret prescription requirements
Take necessary measurements, prepare work orders, and inspect final products for accuracy
Adjust and repair frames as needed
Price, stock, and organize merchandise
