Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant in Plano, TX to deliver a best-in-class patient experience. You will support doctors and teams to help patients see and live their best lives, with training provided for eyewear fitting, insurance explanations, and product knowledge.

Weekend and some evening shifts may be required. No optical experience is required as comprehensive training and tools are provided to learn about frames, lenses, and the MyEyeDr. approach to care.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing or sales experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Problem-solving with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising their needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection using product knowledge to educate on best fit.
• Deliver sales plans and office goals by building trust and patient relationships.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients clearly and accurately.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide eyewear selection.
• Collaborate with the Office Optometrist and team to serve patients effectively.
• Demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy with patients.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
