About the role

As an Eyewear Consultant for MyEyeDr., you play an essential role by providing personalized eyecare and supporting your trusted community of doctors and knowledgeable teams who help our patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience? No problem! You will be provided with training and tools needed to learn about an industry that delivers a best-in-class experience to help patients see and live their best lives. Join our team today and help provide the highest quality vision care. This role reports to the Office General Manager. Some weekend and evening shifts are required.

Responsibilities

1. Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising on their needs.
2. Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection by using product knowledge to educate on the best fit.
3. Consistently meet sales plans and office goals through relationship building and trust.
4. Explain insurance benefits comprehensively to patients.
5. Use company training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide selection of stylish eyewear.
6. Complete optometric tasks in partnership with our Office Optometrist to serve the patient’s needs.
7. Collaborate with doctors and team members for a seamless patient experience.
8. Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr.'s values and brand philosophy.
9. Participate in other office duties as assigned.

About You

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales-related position (Retail, Hospitality, or Optical preferred but not required).
• A proactive problem-solving approach with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Ability to sell with a desire to meet goals and a positive attitude.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player willing to collaborate for the best patient experience.
