About the role

As an Eyewear Consultant for MyEyeDr., you play an essential role by providing personalized eyecare through supporting your trusted community of doctors and knowledgeable teams who help our patients see, look, and be their best. No optical experience? No problem! You will be provided training and tools needed to learn about an industry that delivers our patients a best-in-class experience to help them see and live their best lives. Join our team today and help provide the highest quality vision care to our patients. This role reports to the Office General Manager. Some weekend and evenings shifts are required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising on their needs.
  • Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection, using knowledge of product lines and options to educate patients on the best fit.
  • Consistently deliver sales targets and office goals through relationship building and trust.
  • Explain insurance benefits comprehensively to patients.
  • Utilize provided training to fit, measure, and adjust eyewear from our wide selection.
  • Complete optometric tasks in partnership with our Office Optometrist to serve the patient’s needs.
  • Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy.
  • Participate in other office duties as assigned.

  • Experience in customer-facing or sales roles (retail, hospitality, or optical preferred but not required).
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.
  • Desire to meet sales and office goals with a positive attitude.
  • Friendly, caring, patient-centric, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
