Job summary

Select Surgical Center at Kennedy is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist to join our ambulatory operating suite. The role focuses on scrubbing for procedures, maintaining a sterile field, preparing supplies, and collaborating closely with surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety.

Candidates should have a surgical technician program and BLS, with eye-procedure experience preferred. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in our fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience working in eye procedures preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff and physicians.
