Job summary

CorneaGen is seeking a Full Time Eye Recovery Technician to perform surgical recovery of eye tissue for transplant and research from the South San Francisco area. This onsite role requires reporting to the South San Francisco office for each shift with daily travel to facilities nearby.

The position includes on-the-job training, an hourly wage of 28.00, and a benefits package covering health, retirement, PTO, and other family-friendly perks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and quality surgical recovery of human eye tissue for transplant and/or research.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.
• Collect serologic samples and assist in donor evaluation.
• Document recovery procedures in the electronic donor database.
• Pack specimens for transport following SOPs.
