Qualifications

• Ability to mentor undergraduates in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execution and presentation of research on mouse models of eye diseases; image acquisition, processing and data handling.
• In vivo and ex vivo mouse retinal imaging with selective testing of retinal areas.
• Genotyping and maintaining mouse colonies, DNA isolation, PCR, tissue extraction and immunohistochemistry.
• Lab maintenance, safety compliance, ordering supplies, completing paperwork.
• Prepare manuscripts for publications in collaboration with the PI; review literature and present results.
