Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Eye Clinic to support ophthalmology in both operating room and clinic settings. You will assist with patient preparation and procedural care under the ophthalmologist's supervision.

The role requires nursing licensure in Iowa, BLS certification, and at least one year in perioperative or procedural care. The schedule is Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider), within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of experience in a perioperative or procedural setting.
• Work Shift 8a-4:30p (United States of America).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ophthalmologist and care team to ensure safe, timely procedures.
• Prepare and maintain procedure areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Respond to emergencies per established protocols.
