Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-Op & PACU Phases I & II. You will provide care for surgical patients before and after anesthesia, monitor and reassess, and contribute to a safe perioperative workflow.

The role requires current Iowa RN licensure, two years of perioperative experience (preferred), and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications within 6 months of hire. Strong teamwork and EMR documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN License recognized by the State of Iowa.
• Two years' perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Competent in computer data entry and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer diligent care to surgical patients in pre- and post-operative settings.
• Monitor, assess, intervene, and reassess patient status.
• Document in EMR and maintain patient safety throughout perioperative care.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure quality and cost-effective care.
