Qualifications

• The Technician fulfills an important role providing administrative and clinical support to the doctors, including obtaining patient histories and performing testing.
• Supports exam procedures and maintains patient flow and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating features of preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor-requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow, communicating delays as needed.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as determined by the office manager, team lead, or doctors.
