Job summary

Midwest Eye Consultants in Indiana is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Eye Technician to join our clinical team. You will help prepare patients and exam rooms, perform preliminary testing, and support physicians during procedures.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and a clear path to grow in patient care. Starting wage is $14 per hour with benefits, holidays, PTO, and a company-paid certification program to advance your skills.

Qualifications

• No experience? That's ok! We have a team of trainers dedicated to supporting you as you learn the position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
