Job summary

Midwest Eye Consultants in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Medical Technician to support eye examinations by preparing patients and rooms, performing preliminary testing, and assisting physicians. No experience?

We offer training from a dedicated team to help you grow in patient care. The Technician will also coordinate scheduling, monitor patient flow, and maintain a clean, safe practice environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
