Midwest Eye Consultants is seeking a Technician to support our clinical team by preparing patients and exam rooms, performing preliminary testing, and assisting physicians with procedures. No experience?

That's ok—we offer comprehensive on-the-job training to help you grow in patient care. You will help schedule patients, maintain room readiness, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment while contributing to our high standards of quality care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
