Job summary

Midwest Eye Consultants is seeking a Clinic Technician to support eye examinations by preparing patients, rooms, and equipment, and by performing preliminary testing under physician supervision. You will help manage patient flow, collect histories, and ensure accurate data for doctors.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is a must.
• Previous medical experience in a fast-paced environment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
