Job summary

Luxottica's Target Optical in Tennessee is seeking an Optometric Technician who delivers exceptional patient service and supports the eye care team with care and accuracy.

You will greet guests, explain tests and paperwork, assist with frames, lenses and contact lens orders, maintain organized patient records, and ensure smooth pre-exam testing while upholding safety standards and a WOW! experience for our guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year strong guest service skills.
• High School Graduate / GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communicator and listener to guests and associates.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Sales skills and store merchandise knowledge.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt service to meet needs.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services to guests and doctors.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with accuracy.
• Assist with contact lens orders and invoice processing.
• Operate the POS system and handle payments when required.
• Maintain organized patient records and store displays.
