Job summary

Clarity Vision is hiring an Eye Care Technician to support our optometrists and help patients feel at ease from check-in through exam. No prior optical experience needed - if you're reliable, personable, and enjoy working with people, we'll teach you the rest.

You’ll be the clinical point of contact for our patients, performing pre-testing and guiding them through the visit while maintaining clean rooms and equipment and ensuring a high level of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are valued for patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Run pre-testing (visual fields, retinal imaging, and related diagnostics).
• Guide patients through what to expect during their visit.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean and ready.
• Educate patients on eye health and contact lens care.
• Ensure every patient receives attentive, professional service.

What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll be the clinical point of contact for our patients. That means running pre-testing (visual fields, retinal imaging, and related diagnostics), walking patients through what to expect during their visit, and keeping exam rooms and equipment clean and ready. You’ll also spend time educating patients on eye health and proper contact lens care, and generally making sure every person who comes through the door gets attentive, professional service.
