Job summary

Clarity Vision in North Carolina is seeking an Eye Care Technician to support our optometrists and help patients feel at ease from check-in through exam. No prior optical experience needed – if you're reliable, personable, and enjoy working with people, we'll teach you the rest.

You'll run pre-testing and guide patients through their visit. You’ll keep exam rooms and equipment clean, educate patients on eye health and contact lens care, and ensure every patient receives attentive, professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EMR familiarity.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Bonus points for prior optometric tech experience.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Run pre-testing (visual fields, retinal imaging, and related diagnostics).
• Walk patients through what to expect during their visit and guide them through the process.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean and ready for use.
• Educate patients on eye health and proper contact lens care.
• Provide attentive, professional service to every patient.

What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll be the clinical point of contact for our patients. That means running pre-testing (visual fields, retinal imaging, and related diagnostics), walking patients through what to expect during their visit, and keeping exam rooms and equipment clean and ready. You’ll also spend time educating patients on eye health and proper contact lens care, and generally making sure every person who comes through the door gets attentive, professional service.
