Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a District Manager for Eye Care Surgical (Xen) to lead a field-based team across the Atlantic Coast District. This role focuses on promoting Xen Gel stent within the refractory glaucoma market while ensuring district sales performance and compliant operations.

The candidate will recruit, coach, and develop Account Consultants, drive regional strategy, and manage key accounts and relationships with physicians and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years of Healthcare, buy and bill, or device experience required.
• Strong business analysis and planning skills to drive sales.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to travel 75%+ and attend training events.

Responsibilities

• District Sales Performance: Attain growth and market share goals while managing the district within expense guidelines.
• People Development: Recruit, hire, train, develop and evaluate district team performance.
• Oversees development and succession planning to maximize results.
• Field Execution: Lead sales direction and execute marketing plans within the district.
• Key Customer Management: Develop and manage relationships with physicians, practices, and accounts.
• Provide leadership to support regional business goals and promotional programs.
