Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead in a part-time role in Tampa, FL. This position is the face of the store, guiding customers through the Visionworks experience and ensuring eyewear needs are met simply and boldly.

The role requires optical knowledge, training, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while meeting daily sales goals. Excellent product understanding and a proactive approach to driving outcomes are expected.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure right the first time eyewear.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
