Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a full-time Distribution Clerk in Greensboro, NC to manage merchandise in the Distribution Center and support store distribution. You will receive, process, stock, pick, and prepare items for new stores and shipments while adhering to established procedures.

The role requires 1+ year(s) of distribution experience, strong math skills, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and flexibility for overtime. Optical knowledge or production background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of executive experience.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager.
• Ability to communicate/cooperate with DC associates.
• Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to interact professionally with both corporate and non-corporate personnel.
• Prior experience in distribution center/warehouse preferred.
• Optical knowledge and/or worked in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise/product.
• Process merchandise/product per established procedures.
• Stock merchandise/product to the appropriate location.
• Pick merchandise per established procedures and replenishment schedule.
• Prepare merchandise/product for new stores.
• Prepare merchandise/product for shipment.
• Complete projects as assigned by DC Supervisor and/or Manager.
