Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to train surgeons and their teams in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. You will deliver in-person and virtual training on cataract, refractive, and glaucoma devices, and support SaaS offerings with cloud or DICOM integrations.

You will collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams, ensure certifications are maintained, and travel extensively within your territory to meet quarterly objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in clinical training/education or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and clinical training and education of surgeons and staff on Alcon products in-person and virtually.
• Deliver ongoing clinical support to embed Alcon technology and improve patient outcomes.
• Train customers on use of Alcon products and digital health offerings (SaaS) across territory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support installations, site support, and troubleshooting.
